Approved Managers Course


The  Liquor Stores Association of WA holds face to face training in our premises at West Perth.

What is the Approved Managers Course?

The Approved Managers Course is a an accredited Course in Liquor Licensing (52065) approved by the Department of Racing Gaming & Liquor. The course covers Licensing Legislation and the Liquor Control Act with a focus on Harm Minimisation. The course is offered through Clubs WA as the registered training provider.

 Who should do the course?

It is mandatory for the licensee and at least one person on duty to hold a valid manager's license.

"Unless the Director of Liquor Licensing determines otherwise, each licensee and primary approved manager must complete the Course in Liquor Licensing, which includes the Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol course, conducted by an approved and accredited training provider. Subsequent approved managers need only complete the nationally accredited responsible service of alcohol unit of competency and have until 31 December 2010 to complete an approved course in liquor licensing law."

 

Who much does it cost?

The course costs $385. As a service to our Members and Business Partners the course is available at a discounted cost of only $300 (excl GST).
