Anzac Day
Wed, 7 Apr 2010ALL liquor stores in the City & Country can trade on ANZAC Day the 25th April from 12 noon - 10 pm as per Section 98D (1) (C) of the Liquor Control Act.
This is a Sunday but the Act is quite clear for trading on this day – Anzac Day!
It may not be the intention but it is quite clear………….. this anomaly only occurs on Anzac Day on a Sunday which is approx. every 6 years!
There is no need to apply for an ETP (Extended Trading Permit) even if you currently have an ETP for Sunday trading with lesser hours.
